The Sudbury Chapter of Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club is now officially open and here to stay—strong, united, and ready to ride!
A bit of history on Satan's Choice MC, a legendary 1%er club in Canada: The club was originally founded in 1957 by Non Norris, from 1957-1961 and restarted again in 1965 by Bernie "The Frog" Guindon, a former boxer who represented Canada at the Pan Am Games. Starting in Oshawa, Ontario, he merged his Phantom Riders MC with other clubs from Toronto, Mississauga, and Cambridge areas to create Satan's Choice. At its peak in the late 1960s and 1970s, it became one of the largest outlaw motorcycle clubs in the world—often ranked second only to the Hells Angels—with hundreds of members, up to 34 chapters across Canada, a few in the USA, and even internationally (including Finland). It was the dominant force in Ontario for years, known for its fierce independence and brotherhood. After more than 35 years of ruling the roads, facing internal challenges, police operations (like Project Dismantle in the 1990s that targeted chapters in Sudbury and Hamilton), and shifting alliances, the club patched over to the Hells Angels MC in 2000, marking the end of its original independent era. Bernie Guindon himself briefly joined the Hells Angels before retiring from the scene. In August 2025, Harley Davidson Guindon (Bernie Guindon's son, born in Oshawa, Ontario, and a former Hells Angels vice-president in Brooklin, Ontario) proudly revived the Satan's Choice MC—with his father's full blessing and making Bernie an honorary member. Harley described it as his "destiny," aiming to restore the true spirit of independent motorcycling, brotherhood, and old-school biker morale—away from what he sees as corporate influences in modern clubs. We're proud to say that since the relaunch, the club has grown rapidly within months, establishing chapters across Canada, the United States, and internationally. This resurgence has made Satan's Choice one of the fastest-growing MCs in Canada today, rebuilding its name, legacy, and presence on the roads. Ride free, brothers. The Choice lives on!
